APPLICATIONS
• The scholarship application form is available online (www.foundation.uwlax.edu/schgeneral.html).
This application is for all scholarships unless otherwise noted in the
scholarship criteria or, in the case of freshman, applicants must submit
the Freshman Scholarship Application (http://foundation.uwlax.edu/schfreshmenapp.html) which is also available online.
• Completed applications for continuing students are to be returned
to the offices indicated in each section of this Web site on or before
March 1st at 4:30 p.m. (If March 1st falls on a Saturday or Sunday,
the deadline will be the immediately following Monday.)
• Completed applications for freshmen students are to be returned
to the Foundation Office postmarked no later than Feb. 15 .
For continuing students:
• If the scholarship criteria includes financial need, then you
must include on your application your financial aid rating (high, medium
or low) available from the Financial Aid Office, 215 Graff Main Hall,
785-8604. If you have applied for financial aid but the Financial Aid
Office does not yet have a rating for you, then you must ask a counselor
within that office for assistance in responding to this criterion. If
you have not applied for financial aid, or if "no need" was
found, then you will not satisfy this criterion.
Each scholarship application must be complete, including
all required information and attachments. Incomplete applications, or
applications that do not meet all required criteria, will not be considered.
• In addition to the scholarships and awards of the UW-L Foundation,
there are financial aid programs available and administered by the UW-L
Financial Aid Office. For further information on UW-L's full array of
financial aid programs, contact the Financial Aid Office, 215 Graff
Main Hall, UW-La Crosse, 785-8604.
