What are your educational plans and career goals?   Discuss how your educational plans will help you meet your career goals.

Members of Avant are interested in the promotion of the professional growth and development among women who are in leadership positions in their employment or the community, and in mentoring women who are aspiring to be in leadership positions. Describe a situation in which you applied your leadership skills.

In the past 5 years what other leadership positions (work experience, community service) have you held/do you currently hold? How has your education helped you enhance your leadership skills?   What leadership roles do you anticipate having in the future in these organizations or others?

Members of Avant wish to promote and support women seeking to get their degree and understand paying for the cost of an education can be a challenge.   How will this award help you meet your financial and education needs?

What advice do you have for women who are aspiring to be in leadership positions?
