Clubs & Committees
I. Alumni Clubs
Each Chartered Alumni Club must have a minimum of one alumni club meeting each year and sponsor an alumni club project annually. This project should be used to promote the best interests of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

II. Executive Committee
The Executive Committee, composed of the officers of the Alumni Association (President, Vice-President, Treasurere, Past President, and Executive Director) shall act for the Board of Directors in the interval between meetings of the Board. The President shall serve as the Chair of the Executive Committee. The President can appoint up to three additional board members to serve on the Executive Committee.

Additional duties include:

• Annual review of the Constitution & Bylaws.
• Nomination process to select candidates to be presented for election at the annual meeting.
• Museum activities.
  

III. Communication Committee
The Communication Committee will develop a comprehensive plan to communicate with our alumni. They will also work with the Membership Committee to assist in marketing the Association in order to recruit new members. Communication will include: The Link, Alumni Association Web-site, Alumnus magazine, print and electronic media etc.

IV. Finance Committee
The Finance Committee reviews the annual budget in cooperation with the Executive Director and the Assistant Chancellor for University Advancement. The committee also reviews all program grant requests and makes recommendations to the Executive Committee. Once the Executive Committee approves the budget, it goes to the full board for approval.

V. Graff Distinguished Alumnus Award Committee
The Graff Committee reviews the nominations for this most distinguished award. After careful consideration, the committee makes final recommendations to the Chancellor. The award is given at the Alumni Banquet which takes place the Friday evening before the May commencement ceremony.

VI. Homecoming & Family Weekend
This committee will meet year-round for the purpose of organizing, planning and directing the Homecoming & Family Weekend activities for the Alumni Association. The committee will work with the Campus Activities Board (CAB) to promote this as a University event for students, alumni and parents.

VII. Membership Committee
The Membership Committee promotes membership in the Alumni Association, coordinates the annual membership drive, assists in developing programs to increase the participation and involvement of alumni. The committee meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 11:30a.m.

VIII. Rada Distinguished Alumni Award Committee
This committee reviews the nominations for this distinguished award. After careful consideration, the committee makes final recommendations to the chancellor. The award is given at the Alumni Banquet that takes place the Friday evening before the May Commencement ceremony.

IX. Scholarship
The Scholarship Committee shall select a recipient for the Alumni Association scholarship in accordance with the criteria established by the Board.
